Post: MIK stops when it cannot process a file

I am currently reripping several files all the while I am running MIK over my library. As a result frequently files go away that are in the analyze list. When MIK reaches the file it just stops. Not really convenient. Reply

Hi DJ Suicide Dive,

Thanks for posting, I am happy to help. May I ask, what version is this on? We'll take a look at fixing this for the next update as soon as we have more information.

Thanks,
Chad P

MIK version 4 on OSX.

Here is a screenshot:

It stopped at the "could not open file" and I had to manually press "analyze" for it to continue processing.

I'm sure it is, but I still needed to check which OS this is happening on.

Thanks,

I came on this forum to find a solution to this as well. Is there any solution. It basically performs analysis on 10 songs then stops and I have to restart it... very annoying. I am ok with it skipping a song here and there.. but it should just go on to the next song... Reply

I suffer from this 'feature' too. (OSX 10.5.7) It's far from beeing convenient.

@member above me
To avoid restart just delete the non-processed file and hit analysis again.
