Hi, Thanks for writing, I am happy to help. Could you please do me a favor and send one of the files that you have analyzed but isn't showing it's key to contact@mixedinkey.com using speedyshare.com and I will take a look at it. Also, please include the link to this thread in the email so that I know what the file is in regards to. Cheers, Chad P

Hello I do not know if you got your answer on this yet, but in case you haven't, here is your answer...

You wont see the key in the key field on SSL 2.3 and below. You need to upgrade to 2.4.

What i do is...Scan all my video files with mixed in key, then open 2.4 and build overviews, onces its built, then you can close 2.4 SSL down and open 2.3 and you will have the key in the right field

Hope this helps

this was the reply and it worked "This file hasn't been tagged by Mixed In Key. I would suggest double checking the tag writing preferences in Mixed In Key to ensure that tag writing is enabled (it should have been enabled by default). Once you've double checked, remove the files that aren't showing a key from MIK's collections, and drag them into MIK's analysis panel directly from SSL's browser. Once the files have been analyzed by MIK, refresh the ID3 tags in SSL and your keys should appear."

Hi. I just talked with you guys the other day. I jumped from SSL 2.2.0 to 2.3 and I'm still not seeing my tags in the key section of SSL and rather its in the comments field still. I see in MIK, under preferences, there's a choice to select where the key will be shown and it says in front of the comments section. But shouldn't there be a option to have it placed in the key section of SSL? We can't use SSL 4.0 because it won't won't with MixEmergency for our MP4's. What to do?

Thanks.

@DJghostSince2006

The only thing you can prob do is rename the current SL you have now to "Scratch Live 2.3.3" and than instal 2.4.2 which is the latest update and than rescan or re analyze all your mp4 in 2.4.2 and they should pop up in the Key column after that and than go back into SL 2.3 and they should all be there...
