I would love a small lock button at the top or bottom right corner of each track ... or in the right click menu. A visual indication the track is locked would be helpful.

It is a daunting task to make changes at the beginning of a project when I am working with a lot of content.

I could see this being a useful feature, I will add it to our feature requests list.
