Hey Johnny,
Is your version of Ableton 32-bit by any chance? Captain Plugins only work on 64-bit hosts, so that's maybe the reason why you can't see them on your DAW.
Let me know :)

Hey,
Can you please go to Ableton's Preferences -> File/Folder -> and make sure that you have Use VST Plug-In System Folders set to On in Ableton.
Let me know :)

Good afternoon James, Thank you for getting back to me! That option is set to on and it still doesn't show up. I went into Applications > Library > Audio > Plug-ins > and VST and I see the .VST file of Captain Chords, but it still doesn't show up under Ableton? Is there something else I can do?
I can email you a screenshot of this if that helps? contact@mixedinkey.com is this email where I can contact you?

Hello Johnnyjover, I am having the exact problem that you had with the captain plugins not showing up in ableton. Can you let me know if it was resolve and how it was ?
Hi I have the exact same problem.
Am running a 64x version of Ableton, Captain Chord isn't showing in my plugins.
Can you please share a resolution?
The default install did not work for me either. I'm using Live 10 Intro on Windows 10.
My default VST folder was C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\
I had to change it to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\
I copied the Captain folder under that and everything worked.
Don't give up. It is worth the effort. Amazing plugin!!!
Live scans any shortcuts inside the vst folder too, so you can add all the folder shortcuts you want and the Live browser will treat the shortcuts as if the folders are actually in the vst folder.
Just for anyone who might face with the same problem, The story was at the plugin folder, Captain dlls are inside another folder called Captain, while the other plugins are copied without any separated folder. I moved all the other dlls to a new folder called Collection and rescanned at DAW. it fixed the problem. Seems like Ableton Live does not like the unequal level of relative positions for the plugin dlls.
I purchased captain chords today and I can't get it to show in Ableton 10.1
I have pointed Ableton to the
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\Captain
AND
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Vstplugins\Captain
And I even copied the .dll's inside both folders to by customer location
C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins
I have re-scanned, opened and closed Ableton and even re-started the system and opened Ableton again but I cant get Ableton to register them.
Please help!!!
