I have installed Captain Plugins on my Mac.

The VST files are in my plugins folder, I see them in Finder.

However, they do not appear in Ableton.

I have relaunched Ableton, and rescanned for plugins, but I see nothing in the list of available plugins.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hey Andy,

Is your Ableton 32-bit by any chance?

If so, that's why you can't see it :)

Captain Plugins only work on 64-bit hosts. But, there are a couple of things you can try:

1) Use a plugin such as jBridge which makes 64-bit plugins work on 32-bit hosts.
2) Download a 64-bit version of Ableton

Let me know how it goes :)

p.s. if you want a refund for it, we completely understand. Just shoot us an email at contact@mixedinkey.com and we will take care of that for you :)

I too had this issue running 64bit Live9 on Mac.

The FIX was to force a Rescan of your plugin folders in Ableton settings.
