I let MIK analyze my mp3 files i use in my DJ setup. Keys aswell as CUE points. These CUE are written to Traktor. No problem there.
But when i open my files in Traktor the beatgrip is off, as are the CUE points.
And yes, before using MIK i let Traktor beatgird the files as described in the manual.
This means lots of 'repairing'. Beatgrid readjust and removing all CUE-points.
Anyone else had this experience?

That sounds weird, as far as I'm aware MiK does not interfere with the beatgrid.
maybe you use the option to set the first beatmarker also as hotcue. This combo hotcue/beatmarker could be overwritten with MiK cues resulting in the mess.

I AM using Windows.

What i did i took a batch of about 100 MP3 files. First Traktor set the beatgrid. Then closed Traktor and started MIK. I asked MIK to set the cue points.
After that started Traktor. Refreshed the collection. Opened a file, and noticed that the cue points and grid are off. To early. All the files in that batch.

Yes and yes, that seems to be an algorithm flaw on their end as I've had similar off results on a Mac and using Serato. I hope they're going to get it right oin their next release. this is makes you rather wary and anxious of using the pre-set cue points in a live set.

i have the same trouble here! i let traktor pro 2 do the beat grid ..then MIK analyse the tracks ...and all is offffff , completely off! The sad is that MIK overwrites the existing cues . I have to do everything manual , but there is a looooot of work ....something is wrong !please fix it

Have a look at this the Traktor Cue and Key tool. I wrote it to aid in the Traktor/Mixed in Key integration and one of the things it does is mixing your existing cues with MiK cues instead of overwriting them. But there is a lot more to it then just that and basically these days TCK is a suite of Traktor related apps that allow you to do things not possible with the bare Traktor version at the collection management level.

Great stuff you manage to create friend!Really liked it BUT i don’t need another tool ! I bought MIK for this reason and i actually loved it ! My matter is that i think something is wrong with the syncronization of traktor pro and MIK and i would like the developers to look at it! I am trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it! I have a really massive collection and spend hours to organise it.

I reckon I'm having the same issue too. If I go to 'collection.nml' I find this ...

I have just realised I have it set to overwrite Traktor Cue Points BUT if Mixed In Key is using Traktor beatgrids shouldn't these two have the same Start value?

I agree with AggelakasK, Mixed In Key should be sorting this out for us and there shouldn't be a need for another tool AND I think my 30 days is probably just over.

Purchased MiK a few days ago. Using Traktor. Processed around 400 files. Beatgrid is messed up in 20-30% of the files. Good thing I practiced at home before my gig.
Hope I can revert by re-analyzing in Traktor.
Will probably ask for money back since the Cue Points feature is kinda useless now.

And still no response form MIK. Clear enough i am not the only one with this problem. I stopped using the cue settings in mik. But that was one of the features which was the reason tot buy mik. Why is mik ignoring this problem and not responding?
