Hey, appreciate this is a dumb question but why do the tutorials advise to analyse bpm and grid in Serato or Traktor first?

The reason I'm interested in mixedinkey is because Serato's analysis is very error prone for me. But if the bpm and cues are based on that erroneous grid, then mixedinkey is not nearly as useful for me.

Huge thanks for any responses.

Hi Chris,

Yes. We use Traktor and Serato's beatgrid to place the cue points on the analyzed songs :)

Thanks very much James.
