STICKY: HOW DO I GET A NEW VIP CODE/REDOWNLOAD/SWITCH OS ETC.

You can use your license on all of your personal computers as long as they run the same OS platform. Redownload and license requests should be sent to contact@mixedinkey.com. For the quickest response please log into your PayPal or Google Checkout account and look up your History tab. We may need help to locate your transaction details, so a copy/paste (not a screenshot please) from the History tab will help. Also, please include the email address and name that the software was originally purchased with. We will send you the download link and VIP code as soon as we have more information.

For those wishing to transfer the license to a different operating system we have several options:

  1. We can switch the Mixed In Key license for you at no charge, but it will no longer be valid for the original operating system.

  2. If you want to use the software on both operating systems during the same time frame we always ask our DJs to purchase separate versions. As a special "thank you" for being a valued customer, we will give you free lifetime updates for all platforms after your purchase. All future versions of Mixed In Key will become free for you. You can purchase your additional license here: http://www.MixedInKey.com/BuyNow.aspx Please let us know if you choose this option so that we can designate both licenses for free updates.

  3. If you purchase our entire software suite, Mixed In Key, Mashup, and Platinum Notes, we can send you licenses for both operating systems upon request.

  4. If you only want to purchase one license, you can always use the tagged files on any computer and still view the results in your favorite DJ app.

Hi,

what can i do to prove my purchase if my google email account as been deleted and i cant get proof from google checkout so I can get a new download link? please help i purchase this software some months ago and today is the first day ive tried to install and still cant use it due an oversight on my behalf by not noting the vip code when deleteing my old email account. I just want to redownload the software!

please if you need further details im happy to send them to the relevant parties to clarify my purchase.

I usually respond to VIP code and download requests within 24 hours on weekdays. I do send them out on most weekends too but it's not a guarantee as I do take a day off once in awhile ;)

The VIP codes are only good for one operating system at a time. We can switch the Windows VIP code to be a Mac VIP code, but it will no longer work for your Windows software.

We do allow you to install our software on multiple computers with the purchase of one license as long as they are are your own personal computers and run the same OS platform. You can use your original download link and activation code on any new computers.

I can tell that English isn't your main language, and I know that software not working is a frustrating experience. I'm sure I can help get it fixed pretty easily but this is not the right place for tech support - this thread is for asking for a new download link. Please write contact@mixedinkey.com and say what the problem is, and what operating system you are using.

For PN you can, MIK will require a separate license or a Mashup purchase.

I bought license for MIK 4 for Mac, and I lost it. I have changed my computer now to Windows 8 operating system. Then I have 3 questions please:

  • Can you change my license of MIK to Windows?
  • Can you resend my license.
  • Can I put last update with MIK 4 License.

It should never take 5 days to get a response, it's usually less than 24 hours. You should resend the email, and if you don't get a response within 24 hours please let us know here what email you are writing from.

Hello I'm trying to move mY Mixedinkey from an old computer i just traded to a friend of mine. I just relized that i don't have mik anymore, and i need it from that computer to my new one. I can't remember how i paid for it because it was so long ago. What are my other options for me to move it to my new computer
